Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 1, 2026

Winslow''s Catering Mountain View (an asset of Fresh Pulp Holdings LLC, called "Winslow''s Catering Mountain View," "we," "our," or "us" below) treats your personal information with the same discipline we bring to a Silicon Valley event timeline: collect only what the job requires, use it only for what we promised, and keep it no longer than necessary. This notice explains what we gather when you browse this site, request pricing for a Mountain View catering order, place an order through the cart, message a coordinator, sign in to the client portal, or chat with our website assistant.

By using this site or sending us your details, you accept the practices described here. If any part of it gives you pause, contact us before submitting an inquiry and we will explain your options.

1. What You Share With Us

Almost everything we hold is information you typed in. Depending on how far along your booking is, that may include:

  • Name, company or organization, email address, and phone number
  • Event logistics: date, delivery window, headcount, service style, street address, on-site or campus contact, dock, badge, and parking notes
  • Menu selections, dietary needs, allergy notes, and special requests
  • Billing contact, purchase order or cost-center codes, and resale or tax-exemption documents when they apply
  • Messages, replies, attachments, and notes exchanged with our team or inside the client portal
  • Reviews, referrals, testimonials, and survey responses you choose to send

We never require medical records. When you disclose an allergy so our kitchen can cook safely, that note travels only to the cooks, packers, and drivers handling your order.

2. What Our Systems Record Automatically

As with virtually every catering site serving Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Los Altos, and Palo Alto, our servers log basic technical signals whenever a browser connects: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, session length, approximate region, and on-page actions such as which packages you expanded or whether you started a quote. Cookies, pixels, local storage, and comparable tools make that possible. They hold your cart between visits, remember display preferences, show us which service pages genuinely help customers, and support advertising measurement.

You can block or clear most cookies in your browser. That is entirely your call, though the cart, portal sign-in, and saved-quote tools may stop working correctly.

3. Cards and Bank Details

Payment credentials are entered into a hosted form provided by our payment processor and are tokenized before they reach our systems. We are not built to store full card numbers and do not attempt to. What stays with us is limited to transaction confirmations, the final digits, authorization outcomes, and fraud-screening signals we need to reconcile your order. The processor manages that data under its own security program and privacy terms.

4. How We Use It

  • To quote, schedule, cook, pack, deliver, and staff your event
  • To confirm details, send countdown reminders, and follow up after service
  • To handle deposits, balances, refunds, credits, and tax paperwork
  • To run the client portal, saved quotes, and order history
  • To answer questions arriving by form, phone, text, email, or the website assistant
  • To flag duplicate or fraudulent orders and protect our staff and systems
  • To understand which pages, packages, and price points serve Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Los Altos, Santa Clara, Campbell, Saratoga, Los Gatos, Milpitas, and San Jose customers best
  • To send seasonal menus or promotions when you have asked for them
  • To satisfy tax, accounting, insurance, food-safety, and other legal duties

5. Who Else Sees It

We do not sell your contact information. We do share what is required with the people and platforms that help us operate:

  • Software vendors hosting this site, our database, email delivery, text messaging, calendars, and analytics
  • Payment processors and fraud-prevention providers
  • Delivery drivers, event staff, rental partners, floral partners, and sub-caterers assigned to your event
  • Accountants, insurers, and attorneys advising the company
  • Government agencies or courts when a valid legal demand, subpoena, or safety issue requires it
  • A successor organization if the business or part of it is ever reorganized, sold, or transferred

Each vendor receives only the fields its role requires and is expected to protect that information and use it for our purposes, not their own.

6. Promotional Messages

With your consent we may email or text menu launches, holiday ordering cutoffs, or South Bay event ideas. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and replying STOP ends text messages. Operational notices tied to an active order — confirmations, delivery windows, invoices, driver updates — continue either way, because they are part of the service you booked.

7. How Long We Keep It

Quotes, orders, correspondence, and financial records stay with us as long as they help us serve returning clients and as long as tax, accounting, insurance, and recordkeeping rules require. Marketing contacts are held until you opt out or the record goes cold. Technical logs cycle off far sooner. Once a record no longer serves a purpose, we delete it or remove the identifying detail.

8. Your Choices

Depending on where you live, you may ask us to:

  • Confirm whether we hold information about you and provide a copy
  • Correct anything inaccurate or outdated
  • Delete information, except where law or accounting requires us to keep it
  • Restrict or object to certain uses, including targeted advertising
  • Withdraw marketing consent at any time
  • Receive the same service and pricing after exercising any of these rights

Email the address in Section 13 to make a request. We will verify your identity first, which may mean confirming details from a prior order, and we will respond within the window applicable law allows. An authorized agent may submit on your behalf with proof of authority.

9. California Residents

California law grants residents specific rights: to know the categories of personal information collected, used, disclosed, sold, or shared; to request access, correction, and deletion; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of cross-context behavioral advertising; to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and to be free from retaliation for exercising those rights.

The categories we handle are identifiers, commercial information about your orders, limited financial account data held through our processor, internet and device activity, approximate location, and the content of your communications with us. We obtain them from you, from your browser, and from the vendors named in Section 5, and we use them for the purposes in Section 4.

We do not trade personal information for money. Certain advertising and analytics cookies may still qualify as "sharing" under California definitions. To opt out of that sharing, or to file any other California request, use Section 13 or adjust your browser cookie and Global Privacy Control settings.

10. Children

This site is designed for adults arranging catering for offices, campuses, venues, and homes. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted details should contact us and we will delete the record promptly.

11. Safeguards

We use encrypted connections, access controls, role-limited staff permissions, and vetted vendors to protect what you send. No internet system is perfect, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we do commit to investigating problems quickly and notifying affected customers when the law requires.

12. Outside Links and Embeds

Pages here may link to or embed review platforms, maps, video players, social profiles, or payment pages run by other companies. Their data practices belong to them and follow their policies, not ours. Review those notices before entering information on their properties.
